HDFC Bank’s Sashidhar Jagdishan named ‘Banker of the Year 2022’ by Business Standard

HDFC Bank’s CEO, Sashidhar Jagdishan, has been named “Banker of the Year 2022” by Business Standard, one of India’s leading business news publications. Jagdishan took over as the CEO of HDFC Bank in October 2020 and has been credited with leading the bank through a difficult period, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under Jagdishan’s leadership, HDFC Bank has continued to grow and maintain its position as one of India’s leading private sector banks. The bank has also invested heavily in technology and innovation, launching new products and services to meet the changing needs of its customers.

Jagdishan has been with HDFC Bank since 1996 and has held several senior positions within the bank, including Group Head of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He is known for his expertise in finance and risk management, and has been instrumental in shaping HDFC Bank’s strategy over the years.
